Medicaments for asthma therapy are administered in peroral (i.e. oral administration), injection or especially in inhaler drug forms. The active substance is then dispersed in aerosol (inhallers, inhaler extenders, babyhalers) or is inspired in the form of powder (special discs). So-called nebulizers then disperse a solution of a medicament (from an ampoule) in the air.
